Tensor International specializes in the development and production of flexible single-width web offset press equipment capable of printing 35,000 to 50,000 products per hour, with related folding equipment.

Tensor focuses specifically on single-width printing solutions that deliver dependable, high quality at a competitive price and are backed by superior field support. A network of knowledgeable global representatives has placed over 2500 units and approximately 190 press lines in 43 countries.

Tensor's headquarters and assembly plant are located near the historic, major manufacturing area of Chicago. This area provides an extensive pool of highly trained engineers and skilled craftsmen. Tensor Firsts

Tensor has achieved a number of “firsts” in our segment of the industry. Some of these include:

• The first shaftless press line in Denmark
• First huge press installation in Sweden (Adargo)
• First major press installation in Turkey (Aksam)
• Installed “the largest single-width press line in the world” in Adana for Hurriyet in Turkey during 2004. This press line initially covered approximately 59 meters (194 linear feet) and contained thirteen (13) 4-high towers, six (6) 2-highs, and three (3) Tensor H-50 folders. Twenty-five (25) zero-speed splicers were installed below press level. In 2005 and in 2006, the press line was expanded by an additional six (6) four-highs, three (3) two-highs and one (1) stacked unit. The press currently has a total of 95 press units and three folders.
